Great Reasons to be a Member
ACLPS Annual “Lab Medicine” meeting
The annual meeting in late spring/early summer represents the premier education and scientific event in Laboratory Medicine.
For Trainees: The primary focus of this meeting is to facilitate the careers of young investigators. Numerous sessions at this meeting are comprised of oral presentations delivered by young investigators. This provides a forum for trainees to showcase their work and receive constructive feedback and guidance from leaders in the field. These interactions invariably lead to invaluable advice, mentorship and direction as trainees embark on their own independent careers.
For Faculty and Practicing Laboratorians: The ACLPS meeting provides a great venue to see the up and coming stars in laboratory medicine. In doing so, this meeting enables seasoned faculty members to interact with energetic trainees who are doing incredible research at the forefront of laboratory medicine. This meeting represents a unique forum for individuals dedicated to various disciplines within laboratory medicine. The meeting allows faculty to showcase the work of their trainees and to give back to the field, by providing the type of mentorship our trainees need to successfully navigate the next phase of their promising careers. Lastly, ACLPS provides an exciting opportunity for active members to host the annual meeting.
